Runax "Sueños de Cristal"

Se llevo a cabo el Sábado y Domingo  pasado la presentación de el disco debut de la banda  mexicana de rock progresivo Runax en el teatro Isabela Corona de la Ciudad de México. Fue una presentación muy amena,  ya que contó con la participación de otros artistas, en este caso, presencié la actuación de JC Taylor; Joven artista que prendió al público con su sonido folk, con toques electro pop. Tiene un futuro prometedor este cantante en la escena del rock hecho de forma independiente.

Y fue el turno de Runax, salió el trio al escenario y el público ovacionó cada uno de los temas que interpretaron, los músicos envolvieron el recinto en una atmósfera dark, bajo unas luces rojas y azules, sin dejar de lado su esencia prog. La banda demostró que hay talento y calidad en lo que hacen, solo falta más apoyo por parte de los promotores y medios. Tocaron cada uno de los temas de su disco, que por cierto ya suena su primer sencillo titulado "Me Quiebras". Al final de su presentación hubo una firma de discos y el trio convivió con el público que asistió al evento.

I was held last Saturday and Sunday the presentation of the debut album of the Mexican band of progressive rock Runax in Isabela Corona Theater Mexico City. It was a very entertaining presentation, as it was attended by other artists, in this case, I witnessed the performance of JC Taylor; Young artist who ignited the audience with their sound folk, electro pop with touches. He has a promising future this singer in the rock scene done independently. And it was the turn of Runax, left the trio on stage and the audience cheered each of the subjects that they interpreted, musicians wrapped enclosure in a dark atmosphere, under a red and blue lights, without neglecting their dev essence. The band proved that there is talent and quality in what they do, just it needs more support from sponsors and media. They played each of the songs from his album, which by the way sounds his first single "I Bankruptcy". At the end of his presentation was a record company and the trio lived with the public who attended the event.

 

Unleashed The Archers (Canada)

Unleashed The Archers han estado en la escena del metal desde su creación en 2007, en la ciudad de Vancouver, Canada. Desde entonces se creó una inmensa y leal base de fans en América del Norte. El éxito de su segundo álbum los llevó el extranjero, a los oídos de los metaleros europeos, y ahora se están infiltrando lentamente en el público sudamericano y asiático mercados que por ser un género distinto, desafían la música.
Su show en vivo es de ritmo rápido y muy entretenido; la combinación de voces eléctricas, gritos de muerte, energéticos riffs de guitarra y una percusión compleja ofrecen un poco de algo para todo el mundo.
UTA quiere patear traseros con su metal, con melodías épicas  y pegajosas que no puedes dejar de cantar.
UTA está muy emocionados acaban de ser firmados por Napalm Records de Austria, ahora tienen algunos compañeros de sello, de los que les gustan: Huntress, WASP y Devildriver entre otros.
Su nuevo disco saldrá a la venta 26 de junio en Europa y el resto del mundo, y el 7 de julio en Norteamérica. El primer single ya ha sido elegido y el nuevo video musical ha sido filmado por el extremadamente talentoso camarógrafo Nathan 'Karma' Cox. El single será lanzado a finales de primavera de 2015. Un video en vivo y un video lírico que también se encuentran en el nuevo disco.

Unleash The Archers have been on the road since their inception in 2007, in the city of Vancouver, Canada, and subsequently created an immensely loyal North American fanbase.
The success of their sophomore album brought them overseas to the ears of European metalheads, and now they are slowly infiltrating the South American and Asian markets with their genre-defying brand of music.
Their live show is fast-paced and wildly entertaining; the combination of power vocals, death screams, tasty guitar licks and complex drumming provides a little something for everyone.

UTA is very excited to have just been signed by Napalm Records out of Austria, with label mates including the likes of Huntress, Wasp and Devildriver.
Their new record will be released June 26th in Europe and the rest of the world, July 7th in North America. The first single has already been chosen and new music video has been filmed by the extremely talented videographer Nathan ‘Karma’ Cox the single will be released late Spring 2015. A live video and a lyric video are also in the works for two more tracks from the new record.

Runax (México)

Por A Sevilla.
 Runax es una banda de reciente formación, el trabajo de la banda ha sido arduo para conseguir posicionarse en la escena del rock progresivo. En este momento están en el estudio de grabación editando su primer Ep que se titulará Sueños de Cristal, contiene seis tracks, pero que sean ellos mismos los que nos digan como les ha ido en este tiempo y que es lo que sigue en el futuro inmediato.
Cuando se formo la banda? 
Acabamos de cumplir un año, pero con esta alineación, ya tenemos cuatro meses.
Quien escribe las canciones?
Axel escribe las letras y  la música, y entre todos hacemos los arreglos.
Cual ha sido la respuesta de la gente?
realmente no hemos tenido muchas presentaciones, todo comenzó como un trabajo en la escuela de música Del rock a la palabra, más bien nos metimos al estudio de grabación.y nos hemos enfocado a hacer más promoción, para que cuando hagamos presentaciones la gente sepa nuestras canciones, las coree, esa es la idea antes de sacar un disco físico y subirlo a la web, que es una plataforma muy importante para darnos a conocer.
Entonces ya hay disco?
Si, aunque seguimos con la discución de editar dos discos al año, sería lo ideal para nosotros, aunque implica más trabajo, muchos ensayos, procesos de producción. Aunque no dejamos de trabajar, en el disco tenemos cinco canciones, y estamos por completar otras tres.
Que los inspira a la hora de escribir?
Escribimos sobre lo que nos acontece día a día, lo cotidiano, los miedos, el aspecto social, sin rayar en lo político, aunque creemos que así nació el rock, como un acto de rebeldía.
Cuales son sus influencias?
Cada uno de nosotros tiene distintos gustos musicales, por ejemplo yo escucho a un músico que se llama Pedrito Martínez, él es cubano y con su grupo hacen salsa. Me gusta La Barranca, Santa Sabina, Green Day,el rock progresivo, tratamos de no etiquetar nuestra música. Aunque nos inclinamos más por el progresivo y le agregamos un toque alternativo.
Han alternado con bandas extranjeras?
No, aún no; aunque quizá para finales de Mayo toquemos en San Luis Potosí al lado de una banda que se llama Ritmos Peligrosos.
Cual es el siguiente paso a dar como banda?
Pues queremos seguir tocando, grabando discos, y porque no?, presentarnos en festivales masivos fuera del país hacer que la gente se identifíque con nuestra música, transmitir sentimientos.
Hay alguna banda con la que quisieran alternar?
Con David Gilmore de Pink Floyd, con Mastodon.
Como ven la situación social del país en este momento?
Para un músico es muy complicada, ya no puedes ir a tocar afuera del metro Copilco, o de Coyoacán porque la policia te ve como si fueras un delincuente y te arrestan por estar alterando el orden. Creemos que es una orden del gobierno, una forma de represión hacia los artistas. Solo está permitido lo que ponen en la radio o la televisión, uno como músico ya no puede expresarse libremente en las calles; y en general en cualquier parte de el país sucede lo mismo.
Hay algo que deseen agregar?
Solo decir que lo que hagan, cualquier cosa, la hagan con pasión. y ojalá prónto nos veamos de nuevo, ya con el disco editado.

Runax is a newly formed band, the band's work has been hard to get a position in the progressive rock scene.  Right now they are in the recording studio editing his first EP to be titled Sueños de Cristal, with six tracks, but are they who tell us how fared at this time and what follows in the immediate future.
When the band was formed? 
Just a year old, but with this lineup, we've got four months.
Who writes the songs?
Axel writes the lyrics and music, together make all the arrangements.
What has been the response of the people?
We really have not had many presentations, it began as a school work Del rock a la palabra rather we went into the studio we have focused recording to do more promotion, so that when we make presentations people know our songs, singing, that's the idea before taking a physical record and upload it to the web, which is a very important platform for us to know.
Then there are record? 
Yes, although we continue with a discussion of releasing two albums a year, it would be ideal for us, although it involves more work, many trials, production processes. Although not stop working, our album we have five songs, and we are about to complete another three.
That inspires you when writing? 
We write about what happens to us every day, everyday, the fears, the social aspect, without scratching in politics, although we believe that the rock was born as an act of rebellion.
What are your influences? Each of us has different musical tastes, for example I hear a musician called Pedrito Martinez, he is Cuban and his group make salsa music. You see the social situation of the country at this time?
For a musician it's very complicated, you can not go to play outside the metro Copilco or Coyoacan because the police see you like you're a criminal and you'll be arrested for disturbing the peace. We believe it is a government order, a form of repression of artists. It is allowed only what they put on the radio or television, one musician can no longer speak freely in the streets; and generally in any part of the country it is the same.

Julie Doppler (México)

Julie Doppler es una chica muy sencilla, no hay en ella nada que se diferencie con una chica de su edad, y como tal tiene una sola meta hasta hoy, hacer arte con su música; disfrutarla, que recorra cada poro de su piel, sudarla, y por ende, compartir esa sensación con su público.
Con una carrera de nueve años, Julie Doppler nos demuestra que cuando se quiere, se puede.
Con dos Ep´s en su trayectoria, Julie Doppler se va consolidando en la escena Pop Rock hecha en México.
El dia 16 de Abril, ofrecio un par de conciertos en el Auditorio 2 de la ESIME, Unidad Zacatenco, del Instituto Politecnico Nacional. Ante un Auditorio lleno en las dos presentaciones, Julie nos deleito con  su voz.
Después de su concierto pude hacerle una entrevista; esto fue lo que comento.
Cuanto tiempo llevas en la escena independiente del Pop?
Ya tengo nueve años en la música y cinco con este proyecto.
Cuáles son tus influencias? Mis influencias son variadas, van desde la música latinoamericana y la trova cubana, el Brit Pop, The Beatles, Travis, Camera Oscura; con un ritmo bailable y a la vez muy suave. También escucho a Radiohead y el rock de los setentas. El Metal no lo escucho a menudo, no soy fan de ese género.
Que aspiraciones tienes a nivel internacional? 
La verdad, espero que mi música sea conocida en Europa, me encantaría ir allá, ir a Estados Unidos, que mi proyecto lo escuchen en todos lados. Ya tengo dos Ep´s y en Junio sale el próximo, fíjate, hay algo curioso, en mi primer Ep grabe tres temas en Inglés, pero estamos en México y hay que hacer música para nuestro público, sin embargo si me gustaría grabar nuevamente en inglés; de hecho tengo la intención de grabar un tema en portugués, y mientras más gente escuche el material es mejor, siempre y cuando siga teniendo la misma escencia.
Te consideras una artista pop?
No, la música que hacemos es completamente ecléctica, aunque si tenemos bases rítmicas del pop, del rock; incluso metemos algo de Bosa Nova, y eso hace que la música tenga cierta autenticidad y suene diferente. Pero no me gusta meterme en esos rollos de etiquetar la música.
Hay alguna banda a la que quisieras abrirle?
Sí, a Travis, es mi banda favorita, o alternar con Francis Hilly, o tocar con él, soy muy fan de música, De hecho, fuí a su concierto el pasado ocho de Septiembre, que por cierto, es mi cumpleaños. Les abrieron el concierto los Technicolors Fabrics, que es una banda de Guadalajara. Ese sería mi sueño. Me gustaría ir a todos los festivales internacionales que hay en el mundo, Coachella, Glastonbury, Rock al parque, y porque no, hacer algún día unas olimpiadas, aunque suena muy loco. Finalmente yo no creo en los artistas (que hacen conciertos masivos) plásticos, pero sí creo que el poder de la música en un estadio si tiene mucha fuerza.
Crees que internet ayuda a los músicos, las redes sociales? Pues creo que sí, aunque también creo que es un arma de dos filos, por ejemplo Facebook, para que tu publicación la puedan ver tus seguidores tienes que pagar; aunque tengas millones de seguidores, no todos la van a ver. Y nosotros como músicos, sobre todo aquí en Latinoamerica, debemos usar las redes sociales para difundir nuestro material porque la televisión y la radio a veces se cierran a tocar a bandas independientes. Entonces debemos usarlas a nuestro favor. Escuchen nuevas propuestas, no solo la mía; en el país hay muy buenas bandas como GP, en Argentina, en Brasil hay un músico que se llama Silva, en fin no se dejen llevar por lo que ven y escuchan en Televisión, o incluso en redes sociales.
  
Julie Doppler is a very simple girl, there is nothing in it that is different with a girl her age, and as such has only one goal so far, making art with his music; enjoy it, you scroll through every pore of his skin, sweat it, and thus share that feeling with your audience.

With two Ep's in his career, Julie Doppler is consolidating at the scene Pop Rock Made in Mexico. 
The day April 16, offering a pair of concerts at the Auditorium 2 ESIME, Zacatenco, Instituto Politecnico Nacional. Before a packed auditorium in the two presentations, Julie delighted us with his voice.
 After the concert I was able to interview; this is what I commented. 
Long have you been in the independent scene of Pop? 
Now I have nine years in music five with this project. 
What are your influences?  
My influences are varied, ranging from Latin American music and Cuban trova, Brit Pop, The Beatles, Travis, Camera Oscura; with a danceable rhythm and a very soft time. I also listen to Radiohead and rock of the seventies.  
The Metal not hear it often, I am not a fan of that genre.
That you have aspirations internationally? 
Actually, I hope that my music is known in Europe, I would love to go there, go to America, my project they hear everywhere. Now I have two Ep'sy in June is the next, look, there's something strange in my first EP record three songs in English but are in Mexico and we must make music to our audience, however if I would record again in English ; in fact I have the intention to record a song in Portuguese, and the more people hear the material is better as long as you remain the same essence.
You consider yourself a pop artist? 
No, the music we make is completely eclectic, even if we rhythmic foundation of pop, rock; even put something in Bosa Nova, and that makes the music has a certain authenticity and sound different. But I do not like to get into those music label rolls.
Is there any band that you want to share the stage? 
Yes, Travis, is my favorite band, or alternate with Francis Hilly, or play with him, I am a big fan of your music, I actually went to their concert last September 8, which incidentally, is my birthday. They were opened on the Technicolors Fabrics, a band from Guadalajara. That would be my dream. I would go to all international festivals in the world, Coachella, Glastonbury, Rock al Parque, and why not? make the Olympics someday, though it sounds crazy. Finally, I do not believe in the artists (who make massive concerts) plastics, but I think the power of music in a stadium if you have a lot of strength.
Do you think that the Internet helps musicians, social networks?  
Well I think so, although I think it's a double-edged sword, for example Facebook, so your post's to see your followers have to pay; even if you have millions of followers, not everyone will see. And we as musicians, especially here in Latin America, we use social networks to spread our material because television and radio sometimes close to touching indie bands. Then we use them to our advantage. Listen to new proposals, not only mine; the country has very good bands like GP, in Argentina, in Brazil there are a musician called Silva, in order not swayed by what they see and hear on TV, or even social networks.

Kosmik Vortex (France)

Kosmik Vortex es una banda de rock progresivo con influencias que van desde el Blues, la ópera, el metal, la música sicodelica; y de grandes bandas, tales como: Nina Hagen, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Klaus Nomi, Pink Floyd, Magma, Sonic Youth, Metallica, Black Sabbath.

Esta dramática cantante de ópera soprano decide tomar el camino de rock'n roll con su voz. Ella cantaba ya desde adolescente en diferentes  lugares, góspel, covers  y luego, aprendió la improvisación con la cantante y flautista de jazz Martine Lecomte. Ella participó durante muchos años en jam sessions de todo tipo de músicas y de toda Europa.

Julie comenzó a aprender canto lírico en el "Conservatorio" de 1995 a 1999 y luego abandonó la escuela para tomar lecciones de canto privadas hasta 2009 con Henry Runey en Francia, y Cynthia Jacoby en Alemania.Varias veces fue finalista en concursos de ópera internacionales de 2000 a 2005, ganó una beca. Ella canta recitales como solista con orquesta o piano hasta hoy en día.

También cantaba en algun conjunto vocal como solista. De 2003 a 2009 se mejoró a sí misma en varias clases magistrales con nombres famosos de la ópera como Mirella Freni, Dolora Zajick, Guillemette Laurens, en Francia, en Alemania, en Italia y en los EE.UU. En 2009 se instaló en Berlín y fundó el proyecto Kosmik Vortex con el guitarrista Seb Lee DoubleSix. Así iniciaron primero el proyecto como duo. y tuvieron conciertos en Alemania y en Francia.

 Seb y Julie, ambos son franceses y comparten el mismo camino de la vida y la música desde 1998. De regreso en Francia, en 2011, Seb y Julie se reunieron con el baterista Dominique Chanteloup que entra en Kosmik Vortex y graban su primer disco Opening the Limits en abril de 2012 con el bajista invitado, David Simon. Luego se encuentran con el bajista Nico Baia que se une a la banda en diciembre de 2013. Julie y Seb participaron en  la orquesta Soundpainting TSO en Tours en octubre de 2011 hasta enero de 2014. Kosmik Vortex ahora está en el camino y listo para hacerte volar alto con el poder de la tierra y la naturaleza! Julie también se sigue cantando la música clásica con el pianista Agnès Büchsenschütz. Desde 2015 Julie participa también a algunos otros nuevos proyectos que mezcla ópera con músicas modernas.

This dramatic soprano opera singer choiced to take the way of rock’n roll with her voice. She first were singing already as a teenager in different gospel,songs or coverbands and then, learned improvisation with the flutist and jazz singer Martine Lecomte. She took part during years to many jam sessions from all types of musics and all over Europe. Julie started learning opera singing at the “Conservatoire” from 1995 to 1999 and then left it to take private singing lessons until 2009 with Henry Runey in France,and Cynthia Jacoby in Germany. Several times finalist in international opera competitions from 2000 to 2005, she won a scholarship. She sings solo recitals with orchestra or pianist until nowadays. She were also singing in some vocal ensemble as a solist.
From 2003 to 2009 She improved herself at several masterclasses with famous names of the opera like Mirella Freni, Dolora Zajick, Guillemette Laurens, in France, in Germany, in Italy and in the USA.
In 2009 she settled down in Berlin and founded the project Kosmik Vortex with the guitarist Seb Lee DoubleSix. They start first the project as a duo. They played concerts in Germany and in France. Seb and Julie are both french and share the same road of life and music since 1998.
Back in France, in 2011, Seb and Julie met the drummer Dominique Chanteloup which enters in Kosmik Vortex and they record a first álbum  Opening the Limits in april 2012 with the guest bassist, David Simon.
Then they meet the bassist Nico Baïa which joins the band in december 2013.
Julie and Seb took part to the soundpainting orchestra TSO in Tours in october 2011 until january 2014. Kosmik Vortex is now on the road and ready to make you flying high in the power of the Earth and Nature!
Julie is also still singing classical music with the pianist Agnès Büchsenschutz.
Since 2015 Julie is also taking part to some other new projects who mixes opera with modern musics...projects to be following very soon....just stay tuned!!

La música en el ámbito migratorio.

                                                                                                                                   Para toda la gente que vive lejos de su Patria.

Ya es algo innato en el ser humano, desde que comenzó su vida como sociedad, buscar el bienestar y la protección de su familia, y como tal, ha luchado y trabajado por esa condición. A pesar de las dificultades con las que se ha ido enfrentando a través del tiempo, y de la conformación de los gobiernos en el mundo, con aveces, desaciertos. Casi ningún país ha estado exento de la migración, por falta de empleos, violencia, inseguridad, terrorismo, dictaduras, revoluciones, que al final no lo fueron, y distintas formas de represión; como el exilio por causas políticas, quizá en este caso, las personas exiliadas no toman la migración como una decisión propia, y sin embargo, desde el exilio, sueñan con el regreso al lugar amado.

 En el último de los casos, se  recurre a la migración por el simple hecho de esa búsqueda, de ese sentimiento de libertad que también traemos en nuestra sangre, y que nos ha llevado a que hoy en día el mundo sea tal cual es.
 La migración no ha sido ajena al ámbito musical, muchos músicos han tenido que padecer la misma, y esto por ende, ha influido en su quehacer musical.

La migración no solo lleva a la persona en sí, sino que con ella viajan sus creencias, sus vivencias, y por supuesto, sus gustos musicales. Los cuales, se ven reflejados en la gran cantidad de mezclas que se llegan a conjuntar en algunas bandas, tal es el ejemplo de Gogol Bordello, banda fundada en Nueva York, pero la mayoría de sus integrantes son de Europa de Este.
A continuación les dejo una lista de algunos grupos y solistas que han plasmado en su obra el tema de la migración.

The Traps (Francia)

¿Creías que el rock era solo para  los hombres? Estás preparado para quedar atrapado! The Traps es una banda de chicas creado en agosto de 2010, gracias a un anuncio en un sitio web de rock. The Traps está formado por:
Laura (voz),

Lucie (bajo)
Melina (batería)
Anne-Laure (guitarra) . Ellas se acoplaron artísticamente al minuto que se conocieron: las cuatro comparten las mismas influencias y sus personalidades trabajan muy bien juntas.
La banda inicia rápidamente para llevar a cabo presentaciones en las escenas locales con un fuerte repertorio de rock. Ellas no tienen miedo de nada: abarcan desde Guns N'Roses, The Runaways hasta Black Sabbath. Les gusta seducir a su público con su presencia en el escenario, con un sonido natural y orgánico.
Ellas deciden ir a un nivel superior y comenzar a escribir su propio material. Las chicas tienen mucha ambición y no están dispuestas a parar aquí. Sus conciertos son una oportunidad para demostrar a los que todavía tienen dudas de que las niñas puedan hacer rock.
Se les advierte, "La trampa" se ha puesto!

Rudy y Greta, Dueto acustico. (México)

Rudy y Greta surgen como dueto en el año 2012, desde entonces han trabajado arduamente en este proyecto. Anteriormente ya lo habían hecho en el estado de Morelos (México), pero que sea Greta la que cuente como han sido estos años dentro de el ambiente del rock mexicano.
Hace cuanto comenzaste tu proyecto?
Ya con forma, hace tres años... Tenemos como fecha de aniversario el dos de Enero, pues es nuestro aniversario como pareja aunque comenzamos a trabajar profesionalmente el 6 de enero del 2012; Y surgió de hecho, un año antes en Cuernavaca, teníamos un bar y los grupos que tocaban ahí eran malos, así que decidimos tocar nosotros en nuestro lugar. Luego llegamos al estado de México huyendo de la situación de narco-terrorismo en Morelos. Sin negocio, sin dinero y con deudas enormes. Lo único que nos quedaba era el repertorio que, con los años, hemos mejorado, tocando lo que nos gusta, pues vimos que hay mercado para el rock clásico. Pero grupos ya había muchos y preferimos el concepto acústico, buscando un reto y hacer algo diferente.
Crees que el mercado de rock está saturado?
Los de covers, si. Tocan lo mismo y malbaratan el trabajo por tener donde tocar. Tampoco ayuda que hay muchos, buenos y malos, pero los malos cobran menos. Lo que nos ayuda a entrar sin competencia al mercado es que no hay productos como el nuestro y nos vuelve accesibles a otro tipo de eventos y lugares.
Son originarios de Cuernavaca?
No, pero por cosas del destino nos asociamos con unas personas que tenían este bar en Cuernavaca. Trabajábamos allá de jueves a Sábado y volvíamos a casa el Domingo en la madrugada.
Ya hay tienen contrato con alguna disquera?
Queremos trabajar en nuestra música original antes de pensar en disquera. Francamente no sé si las disqueras estén interesadas en un proyecto de covers aunque tengan un tratamiento personal. Grabamos en nuestro estudio.
El demo que tienen es con música original?
Todavía son sólo maquetas. Queríamos grabar disco el año pasado, pero el trabajo nos absorbe.
 Al principio nos sentíamos un poco despreciados pues nadie nos conocía y no teníamos seguidores. Ahora, después de trabajar en todos lados aquí en el  estado de México, ya podemos hablar de pertenecer al mercado activo en muchos ambientes. Últimamente nos a acogido el ambiente universitario llevándonos a sus eventos. Hemos  querido movernos en festivales culturales, pero creo que tendríamos mas cabida con un proyecto original... Ese círculo tiende a prejuiciarnos cuando mencionamos la palabra "cover"
Y si se llega a dar la grabación, será completamente acustico? 
Probablemente si... Es un conflicto que tenemos. Nos gusta tocar en banda, pero nos encanta el proyecto como está. Quizás un violín, o algún aliento... Aún no sabemos. Jajaja Pero casi seguro, si, sería acústico.
Quién escribe las canciones y sobre que tratán? 
Los dos componemos, a veces juntos, a veces por separado. Rudy suele contar historias, algunas personales, otras de cosas que escucha de amigos o en la calle. Yo, a menudo hablo de estados mentales o espirituales. Creo que es buena combinación.  Abordamos mucho el tema de los ideales... De manera personal o social?
Ambas Creo que van de la mano Es natural cuando vivimos en un estado tan terrible  Para temas banales ya tenemos televisa. Hay mucho mas que decir del amor que las frases trilladas que ya conocemos... Y es motivo para que no haya cabida en esos espacios Porque no prueban cosas distintas, siempre van a lo seguro; ademas creo que mercado hay, sino, no se consumiría la buena música del resto del mundo. Somos prejuiciosos, también comodinos y malinchistas... Las buenas propuestas no quieren "comercializarse" y las malas... Ufff!
Suelen ser flojos y quedarse en su zona de confort. Pero parece que vivimos en un lugar distinto a todos los demás, el mundo es individual. Cada quien crea el suyo... Y lo compartimos, unos con otros...
Quizá sea esa la razón por la que mucha gente consume música extranjera?
Yo creo que si. No hay un estándar;... y también, seamos honestos, a menudo los buenos son pretenciosos...  El rock nacional, todo me suena a cumbia rock... bueno, no todo. también, se cargan unos egos muy grandes. La onda está en ser artista por necesidad del alma, no del ego. Aquí, no sé, como que no se logra una madurez. Una identidad... A mi me gustan muy pocas propuestas de habla hispana y no es malinchismo, es puro gusto. En el  (rock) progresivo hay algunas bandas que valen la pena. Lo que veo mal es etiquetar la música de forma totalitaria... Uno debe fluir y ya. No querer sonar "a",
Aquí es muy complicado vivír de la música?
  Si y no. Porque trabajo siempre hay. Hemos pagado deudas y mantenido el hogar con nuestro trabajo. Pero es un trabajo "comercial". Si quisiéramos vivir de un proyecto original, es otro cantar. Hay que tener mentalidad empresarial. Conectarse, tener buen discurso y saberse vender. Si vieras las veces que nos miraron con cierto desprecio cuando veían llegar a dos gatos con guitarras...  el resto depende de la calidad de tu trabajo. Así es este negocio. Todo es imagen, pero aquí continuaremos, en este viaje musical mientras haya oportunidad.
Así que hay más por esperar de este dueto mexicano, que paso a paso, se van abriendo camino y van escribiendo su propia historia en la escena del rock hecho en México de forma independiente.
